The state of Utah provides some of the most spectacular scenery for
hiking, with interesting rock formations, and wide open spaces. There
are numerous national parks named for canyons and arches, features you
have probably seen in photos and film. Among these parks are Zion
National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park,
and Arches National Park.
There is a lot that has been written to help the visitor to Utah enjoy hiking and related activities in the state. The pages of this site provide very limited information about hiking in Utah, but it is hoped that the links are useful to the visitor who seeks more detailed information to plan a trip.
